It Brakes February 15, 2004 Monitr@aol.com (Lyman, ME United States) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased two of these machines at the same time, they work good in the beginning but give it a little time and you will find them to brake easy. Where the back part folds down to snap in they have little plastic tabs. My first one, broke on the right side and my second one just broke on the other side. What happpens is your recieving faxes will not come through because it needs to seat correctly. Plus the film is expensive. I've called panasonic and basically to get fixed you might as well buy another one or just toss it. I took a hammer to my first one..Litteraly and I'm ready to do it again with the second one. They are cheaply built. I vow to never again own a panasonic fax machine! I spent 200 bucks a piece for these. Simple Junk.
Great phone for personal use December 23, 2003 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Hi,
I have had this for one year and I like it. I have not had
any problems with mine. It has come in handy when I have had
to fax or recieve faxes. No problem here unless I run out of
ink, make sure you have spare ink handy.
It also takes up very little space on my counter.
I would not recommend this, if you fax on a regular basis
or for a business, however on a small scale off and on for personal use,for the price its perfect.
Not reliable October 6, 2003 Deidre A. Aragon (Los Lunas, NM (USA)) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
When I purchased this machine, it had a six month warranty. Seven months later a small latch inside broke. I have had to tape the cover down just to be able to use it. Works but not well. I will try another brand next time.
good home fax machine April 9, 2003 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a great fax machine. I use it as my primary phone, because it has an answering machine, all the normal features of a cordless phone, plus the fax machine. The only thing I don't like about it is the ink it uses to print the faxes. It uses a roll of ink paper that leaves an imprint of any documents it prints. So if you have confidential documents being faxed to you, you will need to dispose of the used ink paper appropriately.
not recommended April 3, 2003 Irvine CA (irvine, ca United States) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
The cordless/answering/fax worked fine for a few months, but buttons started sticking. Panasonic service dealers told me it would cost more to fix the handset buttons, than to buy a new one. I am sure I won't buy another Panasonic phone again.
