Excellent Accessory July 1, 2010 Jason A. Cates Although it is somewhat expensive, this tray is extremely easy to install and works within minutes of getting it out of the box. I wanted a seperate tray to hold and feed printed checks through. It looks like it will do the job well.
Not good for envelopes June 11, 2010 MDO Periodontics, PA (Minnesota, USA) Bought the lower tray to print envelopes because we do 10-15 envelopes at a time. Tray worked well at first but now when envelopes print they come out so hot that it seals the seal on them. If you open the back door there are two little blue tabs that if you push them down you can print envelopes without them crinkling....our envelopes still crinkle. A litte disappointed because it would be REALLY nice to have a printer that you can have a spefic envelope drawer and not have any problems and I thought this was the one.
like the flexibility January 31, 2010 Cresfield Moody We recently started using this. makes it really nice when you have 2 different types of paper or different forms that you fill out. just have to remember to go into the properties to select a different tray when you need to switch. otherwise very easy to install and use. very helpful to our office.
If you buy the printer, buy this tray. September 18, 2009 Richard Santina (Silicon Valley, CA.) I got a network printer because four of us use it - and nobody ever checks the paper supply.
Why get frustrated when somebody runs the printer out of paper? If you buy this tray, running out will happen a lot less often.
You won't get as frustrated, your blood pressure will stay lower, you will live a longer and happier life. Ok, perhaps not exactly true - but it is a great investment in a printer you will probably have for years.
This tray CAN be added to the MFC-8480DN laser printer September 15, 2009 Feline Fancier (Ohio, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The LT5300 is listed as not applicable to the MFC-8480DN laser printer. However, the MFC-8480DN users guide lists this tray as an applicable accessory. The tray installed as documented and is working fine. Tip: If you are adding the tray to an MFC-8480DN, lift the printer straight up.
